Session Guidelines

The proposer of the session will be session chair. A session will be opened only if it gathers at least 5 accepted contributions.If a session does not meet the required number of contributions, submitted papers will be reallocated to general or interdisciplinary conference sessions.

The session proposer is expected to actively promote the session within their professional network to attract relevant contributions.

Proposed sessions should be aligned with the main theme of KNOWCON and fall within the fields of: Economics, Management, Business, Current Market Trends and Innovations. Sessions should be specific and distinct to ensure differentiation from general conference sections.

Paper Guidelines

To submit an abstract or contribution it is necessary to register first. After the acceptance of the abstract, the authors will be notified and asked to submit a full paper into the conference system.

Text of the contribution has to comply with the guidelines shown in the template. Author have to use the template for MS (docx). Only contribution in pdf will be accepted!

Only contributions with positive reviews will be published in the proceeding.

Conference proceedings with an ISBN will be the official output of the conference. The proceedings will be sent to Web of Science to be evaluated. The proceedings of Knowledge for Market Use 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017  have been indexed by the Web of Science. The Proceedings of 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 are now being evaluated.

All authors, the meaning of the section § 2373 paragraph 2 of the Act No. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code, declares that it exercises the author´s economic rights to the article and through the submission of the article grants to Palacký University in Olomouc, as a licensee, the licence to exercise the right of reproduction and distribution of the article, of its communication to the public, inter alia, also through the computer network internet, and of conversion of its record in electronic form to the format compatible with the demands of the licensee and if needs be with the demands of the persons authorized by the sub-licence. The licence is granted for an indefinite period and, with regard to its nature, it is not restricted in scope of territory where applicable. The grantor declares that the article does not intervene into the moral or economic rights of third parties as authors and that the copyright regulations cannot be infringed through its use. The licensor grants the licence to use the article free of charge. Palacký University in Olomouc is entitled to grant the authorisation which is a part of the licence to a third party.

Poster Guidelines

The conference includes a poster session. Poster authors are allocated space and time in the program to present their topic. The maximum poster size is 100x130 cm.

Presentation Guidelines

An internet-connected PC is available for active participants. Each presentation lasts 10 minutes, followed by a discussion. Participants must record their presentation before the start of the panel in which their paper is included. Presentations can be created using PowerPoint or similar software. The presentation language is English.
