Pavel Kuchař holds degrees from the University of Turin and the University of Economics in Prague. He has previously held positions at King’s College London, the University of Bristol, the National Autonomous University of Mexico, or Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in China. His research focuses on the role of institutional infrastructures in the constitution and functioning of markets, with interests in theories of entrepreneurship, economics of institutions, and the history of economic thought. His work has been published in journals such as Public Choice, the Journal of Evolutionary Economics, or Research in the History of Economic Thought and Methodology, among others. Pavel is also a co-editor of "Governing Markets as Knowledge Commons" (Cambridge University Press, 2021). He is a Research Fellow at the Centre for the Study of Governance and Society (CSGS) at King's College London, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a member of the World Interdisciplinary Network for Institutional Research (WINIR).
