As part of this year’s Palacký University Sports Day, our department took part in the Faculty of Arts Dean’s Cup football tournament for the very first time – and delivered an excellent result. Competing against teams from across the faculty, the DEMS squad earned an impressive 4th place.
This achievement was made possible thanks to a group of our students, who joined the tournament with enthusiasm and strong team spirit. A special contribution came from Dr. Veronika Vorobljevová, who took to the field alongside the players, and from Assoc. Prof. Jaroslava Kubátová, who cheered the team on as their most loyal supporter.
We thank everyone involved for proudly representing the department and for their outstanding teamwork. We hope this sporting spirit continues in the years to come!
