On 2 September, a memorandum of cooperation to support the development of social entrepreneurship was signed in Olomouc. The agreement is part of the InSPIRO project, which builds on the successful RESP initiative. Its main aims are to support the growth of the social enterprise sector, encourage the sharing of practical knowledge and expertise, and create a stable support system for businesses that put social responsibility at the heart of what they do.

Palacký University Olomouc was represented at the signing by Assoc. Prof. Jaroslava Kubátová from our Department of Economic and Managerial Studies (DEMS). The department is actively involved in both the theoretical and practical development of the social economy and social entrepreneurship.

For DEMS, taking part in this cooperation is an opportunity to strengthen links between academia and practice and to further develop its work in social entrepreneurship, economics and management. We are pleased that Palacký University and DEMS can contribute to an important step forward for social entrepreneurship, which plays a valuable role in building a more resilient society where economic growth goes hand in hand with humanity and social responsibility.
