On Thursday, 4 December 2025, the 20th edition of the international conference KNOWCON: Knowledge on Economics and Management took place, organized by the Department of Economic and Managerial Studies at the Faculty of Arts, Palacký University Olomouc. This long-standing event is known for its friendly atmosphere that encourages networking, experience sharing, and connections between academics across disciplines and institutions.
This year’s edition welcomed more than twenty speakers from various European countries. Key themes included soft skills in management, cultural markets, sustainability, digitalization, and innovation. The discussions also focused on international collaboration and current societal challenges in education, human resources, and organizational development.
KNOWCON has always emphasized an open and accessible format, creating space for in-depth conversations, new contacts, and interdisciplinary exchange of ideas.
The evening wine tasting, led by the owner of one of the most popular wine bars in Olomouc, provided an ideal setting to continue the conversations sparked throughout the day..
